Le renard

HD / Experimental / French / Canada, Switzerland / 2024-2025

(in post-production)

A film student presents a series of his father’s expedition photos to his classmate. Wanting to create a film based on these images, he tries to convince his colleague of the events that occurred during the trip. The narrative, rooted in reality, seems to gradually drifts towards the imaginary: is it truly real?

The project focuses on the notions of "how to see images?" and “what do the images say?” in a meta-cinematic framework. It is a reflection on the divergence of views and the meaning that each can impose on a picture.
